This is the first book I’ve read by this author and overall I enjoyed it. I had to read every single word, slowly and carefully because I didn’t want to miss a single detail.

I did notice there was no sex, but Curry is an old fashion kind of guy. Taken and turned against his will, he has been held captive by his evil sire Marsla for over years.
Only issues is this book ends abruptly so be ready to download antefos next. Some really interesting and off beat good vamps, a really nasty ho vamp, some decent humans, and a few not-so-decent humans,and one psychotic meat anteross.

Even by the halfway point I still got the sense that the author was still trying to figure out the point and overall, vampire element felt like it was jammed into the story. Apparently, me since I just did. The paranormal elements are quite subtle and this made the whole plot seem more realistic, something that is quite hard to do when you’re talking about the supernatural in this day and age.
