While I wished that Simon had a longer book and that he displayed more of the Simon from the previous installments, I enjoyed the tender side of his character just as much. I would’ve liked a full length story for this couple because I think they had the potential to be quite interesting – I think I would’ve liked to know Ned better as a character and Charlotte was considerably more interesting than Lydia although I’m sure that was intended.

I found the story entertaining and amusing but also, although this is expected of a novella, a tad short and rushed.
